Calyos and 2CRSi Edge have announced a collaboration to integrate advanced passive two-phase cooling technologies into high-density GPU platforms designed for deployment beyond traditional data centers.
By combining Calyos’ expertise in passive two-phase direct-to-chip cooling with 2CRSi’s capabilities in designing and manufacturing high-performance, ruggedized computing systems, the partnership aims to deliver a new generation of AI infrastructure optimized for edge and mission-critical environments.
The joint approach leverages phase-change heat absorption directly at the chip level, followed by passive condensation and fluid return in a closed-loop system—eliminating the need for pumps, compressors, and high-speed fans. This enables stable thermal performance, reduced failure modes, and lower energy consumption in constrained and non-controlled environments.
These solutions address the increasing thermal and reliability challenges associated with next-generation GPU platforms, enabling sustained high-performance AI workloads in defence, industrial edge, and remote deployment scenarios.
This collaboration marks a key step in extending data center-class compute capabilities to the edge, while improving efficiency, robustness, and deployability of AI systems.

When We Started
Calyos was incorporated in 2014 as a spin-off from Euro Heat Pipes (EHP), which was established in 2001 and has become a major player in the European satellite market. Since then, Calyos has been adapting and evolving EHP's space-grade cooling technologies for terrestrial applications.
