Calyos participated in the 41st annual SEMI-THERM Symposium, held in San Jose, California. This event brings together global thermal management experts to explore cutting-edge developments in electronics cooling, with a growing focus on sustainable, high-efficiency solutions.
During the first day, Olivier de Laet and Ben Sutton led an in-depth short course titled:
“Analyzing Two-Phase Data Center Cooling Solutions: The Physics, The Challenges, and The Future”.
This session guided participants through the core principles and practical considerations of two-phase cooling in data centers, covering: Fundamental physics of two-phase systems, implementation challenges in real-world environments, strategic approaches to enable adoption.
Olivier de Laet also took part in a high-level panel discussion centered on the future of data center thermal management. Olivier joined experts M Reza Najjari, Ph.D., P.Eng, Sharon Adam, and Jason Strader in a session moderated by Lieven Vervecken.

When We Started
Calyos was incorporated in 2014 as a spin-off from Euro Heat Pipes (EHP), which was established in 2001 and has become a major player in the European satellite market. Since then, Calyos has been adapting and evolving EHP's space-grade cooling technologies for terrestrial applications.
